Lance Cpl. Myles Kerr may have lost the Jeff Drenth Memorial 5K footrace in Charlevoix, Michigan, last weekend, but he won the hearts of hundreds of thousands of admirers.

He ran past the boy, Boden Fuchs, who was struggling and running alone. As Kerr was passing Boden asked "sir, will you please run with me?" They finished the race together and Lance Cpl. Kerr helped Boden reunite with his group after the race.

This story is incredibly touching. My son is a Marine and I'd like to think he'd do the same thing.

Saw that on the news this morning. Another future Marine in the making. Great story.
